IMPORTANT: The 2021 edition of IGARSS will unfortunately not take place in the magnificent city of Brussels. We do hope you will be able to visit Brussels and also other parts of Belgium later on. We therefore keep this information available for you to. Please do note that the IGARSS 2021 organizing committee is no longer able to offer travel or accommodation support, because the symposium is fully virtual.

More than 60 million Europeans live within 300km of Brussels, less than two hours by high-speed train. For those who fly in, it takes only 20 minutes from the airport to the city centre. And when you have arrived, it's easy to move around the compact city, by public transport or on foot.

By PLANE

Brussels is connected with 2 international airports, the Brussels Airport Zaventem and the Brussels South Charleroi airport. It takes only 20 minutes from the airport to the city centre.


By TRAIN

Brussels is also easily accessible via high-speed trains Eurostar, TGV and Thalys. For more information on the international high-speed trains, please visit the dedicated websites.

Once arrived in Brussels you can travel with the Belgian rail network NMBS/SNCB.


By BUS

Several international bus companies that provide quick bus transit between major European cities also stop in Brussels on journeys to and from cities like Amsterdam, Berlin, London and Paris.
